Τεχνικός έλεγχος φωτοβολταικών

The installation of photovoltaics is a process that requires specialized knowledge and highly trained personnel certified according to the European standard PVTRIN.

It is important to choose the company we will work with because we have occasionally encountered many malfunctions and installation failures that result in the malfunctioning of the photovoltaic, the loss of production and therefore the delay of payback on the customer’s investment.
More details can be found in our corresponding article entitled

Technical failures, errors and faults in photovoltaic systems

The installation can be carried out at home, in the field and on industrial roofs of companies. Our indicative projects involving domestic applications, industrial applications and ground-mounted projects can be found on our website at on the respective page.
Projects – TASIS ENERGY (tasisenergy.gr).

TASIS Energy has the expertise and experience to follow all the required steps before reaching the installation stage.
Steps which consist of the study, offer, installation plan, licensing.
After the customer signs a connection and a contract of offset with the provider, the installation of the photovoltaic by a specialized crew follows.

Our company is able to answer all your questions regarding the installation of photovoltaic. Do not hesitate to contact us to provide you with solutions to anything you need.
Below you will find information about questions from our prospective customers.

What you need for photovoltaic installation

First we need to answer basic questions such as where the photovoltaic will be installed, and the amount of power needed to meet our needs.
The process and implementation is different if the installation is done in a field and different if it is done in a house.
If your interest is in the home, the design and plan focuses on meeting the daily needs of the household. This means that our company, after a study, will propose the installation of a photovoltaic system of such a power that will ensure the customer’s autonomy with the fastest possible payback of the invested money.
On the other hand, in the case of the field, the installation of photovoltaic systems is an investment, through which the investor sells the generated electricity to the provider with the corresponding financial consideration agreed upon.

What is the process of installing a photovoltaic system?

Installing photovoltaic panels in a house

After the licensing phase and after the owner has signed a connection contract and a netting contract with the provider, the date of the start of the installation of the photovoltaic system is agreed in cooperation with the customer.
The duration of the construction varies from 2 to 4 days depending on the power and complexity of the construction.
Initially it is worth noting that there is a difference depending on whether you have a roof or a terrace and this difference consists in the placement of the mounting bases.

ROOF

If the PV system is installed on a pitched roof with tiles, then the first step is to identify the locations where the supports will be placed.
Then the special stainless steel anchors are placed and the tiles are repositioned without altering the tightness of the roof at all.
Horizontal aluminium profiles are attached to the anchors, on which the photovoltaic panels will be mounted. Particular attention is needed to adjust the anchors so that they “absorb” the imperfections of the roof and the horizontal profiles are perfectly aligned. Often for reasons of stability or height of the structure, a grid is created by placing vertical profiles as well.

TERRACE

The support on the roof is made with metal bases, which ensure a slope for the frames equal to 30°. These are metal structures made of galvanized steel or aluminium.
Their anchoring to the roof requires care so that if there is insulation, it is not damaged. For this reason, a strong sealant (usually silicone) is used in each hole to be drilled or resin (in the case of a chemical anchor).
First of all, the positions of the brackets are precisely marked. Except for the end brackets, they are placed in between, approximately 1 – 1,3 m apart. The positions of the anchor holes are marked at these positions. Each bracket is usually provided with four holes for optimum positioning. Either three (3) or all four (4) are used. If the winds in the installation area are strong, then the brackets are placed more densely (0,80 – 1 m).
Next, the supports are assembled and the horizontal aluminum profiles are installed.

MOUNTING OF PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS

Next, the photovoltaic panels are placed on the horizontal aluminium profiles using special connectors.

How much kw does a house with photovoltaic panels need?

The truth is that this is a very common question from our customers and we are able to answer it because of our long experience in the field of Renewable Energy Sources and in particular Photovoltaic Systems.

Each case is unique and needs special consideration, but we will try to give some general rules to help you think.
The first and basic action is to find out the annual consumption of the house. If the house is an existing one, this is easy since it is enough to have the last few years’ bills.
If the house is new you will need an experienced electrical engineer who will be able to estimate your future consumption.
We then add any future charges, such as new members in the family or an electric car and after taking all of the above into account and deriving an average annual consumption we are able to answer the question “how many kw does a house with PV need”.
In Greece a 1kw photovoltaic ashlar in an ideal south-facing slope can yield about 1600kw per year. Taking into account any shading and deviations from the orientation, we can safely estimate how many kw a house with PV needs.

Installation of photovoltaic panels in house cost

The truth is that it would be arbitrary and unwise on our part to give prices for photovoltaic installation without first contacting the customer to get the required information.
It may be mentioned at the outset that one factor that determines the cost for installing photovoltaic systems in a home is the power of the system. That is, how many photovoltaic panels will be needed to meet the needs of the consumer.
Also, the cost of installing photovoltaic panels goes up if a battery is installed to store the energy produced.
Also, if there is the disadvantage of strong shading at the installation site, additional equipment (optimizer) will be needed to enhance the system.

All of the above, together with the cost of work, make up the total cost for the installation of photovoltaics in a house.

Photovoltaic prices 5kw

It has been observed that there is a strong interest in 5kw photovoltaics.
Such systems meet the needs of a small single-family home and their prices are affordable for most people. It covers about 8000kw annual needs, which translates into an economic benefit of about 900 €.

Installing photovoltaic panels in a field

Installation of photovoltaics in a field can be done either you own the plot or rent a piece of land for use.
In either case you belong, it is useful to know that installing photovoltaics on a farm is an investment proposal as the farm produces electricity which it sells to the public electricity grid.
This means that the system must produce the maximum amount of energy to ensure maximum benefit.
It goes without saying, therefore, that an accurate and thorough study by qualified scientists is of the utmost importance.
More information on the installation of photovoltaic systems in a field can be found on the corresponding page of our site Photovoltaic Park-Investment Proposal (tasisenergy.gr).

Installing photovoltaic panels in a field cost

Many people wonder the cost of such an investment. We will answer that it is important to consider the financial benefit of such an investment.
After all, there are subsidy programs different per periods that support such ventures.
Therefore, if you belong to the category of those who want to know the price for installing photovoltaic panels in a field, do not hesitate to contact us. Our team is eager to assist you and suggest the best solution for you.

Electrical installation of photovoltaic systems

The panels are connected in groups according to the shading study, grounded to each other and to the mounting bases and using special cables for direct current and exposure to external conditions (inside heavy-duty tubes) are inserted in the position of the panels and the inverter.
Subsequently, the wiring of the DC and AC panels is carried out (where all lines are protected against fault currents – short-circuit, electric shock and protected against lightning).
Finally, the connection is made to the PPC meter and once the system is connected, the interconnection with the remote monitoring system is made.

Installation of photovoltaic companies

Many companies for the installation of photovoltaic systems are appearing on the market.
As mentioned in the preface, it is important to choose the company you will work with for the installation of your photovoltaic system.

We have been called too many times on projects for damage restoration, where we have observed installation failures, violations of planning regulations, significant irregularities that threaten the safety of the system and make it dangerous even for human life.

TASIS Energy has all the necessary certificates that ensure the safe and fully compliant construction of your project.

It selects its team based on training and expertise.
It has long experience in installing photovoltaic systems but most importantly it operates with a focus on respect for the customer.
Our goal and main concern is customer satisfaction, as our thousands of satisfied customers ensure our continuity.
