Qualified engineers – skilled and experienced technicians undertake the preventive maintenance of your photovoltaic station.
What does technical preventive maintenance of photovoltaic system mean
Full technical maintenance includes a set of technical works – measurements – recording – monitoring – studies and actions carried out on a regular basis by qualified technical staff.
Who (must) carry it out
Certified and specialized electrical engineers – installers. The only technical certification for installation and maintenance of PV systems is the European PVTRIN Certification.
What (should) maintenance include
- Electrical - Electronic control, measurements and maintenance of PV equipment.
- Engineering control, measurement and maintenance.
- System performance monitoring, recording and analysis.
- Thermographic control of chassis, converters, panels.
- Preparation and drafting of technical report, maintenance report, studies, plans.
- Proposals for correction - improvement and general protection.
- Telemonitoring - Telemetry.
- Owner training for his system.
- Technical support and immediate intervention.

in the following document: maintenance_photovoltaic
Why it is necessary
A photovoltaic energy production system, like any technical project, must be maintained to ensure its safe and uninterrupted operation and to avoid unpleasant situations. Protection for the system, the people, the environment and the building.
More specifically, maintenance ensures the following:
- Early detection and prevention of future failures through thermography of the equipment with a special thermal camera
- Slowing down the process of premature ageing of equipment
- Safety of the system by tightening the additional parts of the support base
- Better operation of the system through the control of electrical equipment
- The investor who does not maintain his photovoltaic system may lose daily production and income due to the disconnection of the system from the grid due to a failure.
It is noteworthy that 5 days where the system will be out of operation and therefore out of production is equivalent to the cost of maintenance
How often should it be carried out
Based on manufacturers’ specifications, international standards, insurance policies and regulations, a PV system must be maintained at least once a year from its first year of operation.
At the end of the annual preventive technical inspection, our technician completes a maintenance report in which he records the work carried out and any interventions made.
After the end of the maintenance, we also keep a maintenance record for each installation, with the history of the PV installation and when the maintenance has been carried out and what interventions have been made.
However, because regardless of the maintenance, there is always the possibility of a failure in your PV system, our technical staff is at your disposal.
We have the knowledge and experience to take care of any problem and suggest the appropriate solution for each case.
